High Intensity Care

High intensity support is available for individuals who have high care needs and are aimed at enabling their lives to be as independent as possible. These supports are provided by more highly trained support workers or clinicians with advanced qualifications and experience. For example; Registered Nurses.

Our high care supports include:

  1. Complex Bowel Care:

  – Our experienced care team manages bowel care routines tailored to each participant’s needs, ensuring comfort and dignity.

-We provide training for caregivers and ongoing support to manage complex bowel care effectively at home.

 

  1. Enteral Feeding Support:

   – We offer specialized support for enteral feeding, including tube care, feeding regimen management, and nutritional monitoring

   – Our nurses are trained to manage complications and provide emergency care related to enteral feeding.

 

  1.  Dysphagia Support:

   – Our team assists in managing dysphagia through personalized care plans, including dietary modifications and swallowing therapy.

   – We collaborate with speech therapists to ensure safe swallowing techniques and reduce the risk of aspiration.

 

  1. Ventilator Support:

   – Our skilled nurses provide round-the-clock ventilator support, ensuring the participant’s respiratory needs are met safely.

   – We work closely with respiratory therapists to manage ventilator settings and monitor the participant’s health.

 

  1. Tracheostomy Support:

   – Our care team provides comprehensive tracheostomy care, including cleaning, suctioning, and monitoring of the tracheostomy site

   – We offer training for family members and caregivers to ensure confident and effective tracheostomy care at home.

 

  1. Urinary Catheter Support:

   – We deliver expert urinary catheter care, including insertion, maintenance, and monitoring for potential complications.

   – Our nurses educate participants and caregivers on proper catheter management and hygiene practices.

 

  1. Subcutaneous Injections:

   – Our nursing staff is trained in administering subcutaneous injections, ensuring proper dosage and technique for various medications.

   – We provide education on self-administration and ongoing support to manage injection-related concerns.

 

  1. Complex Wound Care Support:

   – Our wound care specialists develop tailored treatment plans for complex wounds, promoting healing and preventing infection.

   – We use advanced wound care techniques and collaborate with healthcare providers to monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
